Tarves 4–3 Kemnay AFC

Kemnay were narrowly beaten 4–3 by Tarves at Hillhead Park on Wednesday evening in their second league game of the season.

Kemnay made the perfect start, with Saber opening the scoring after just two minutes.

Tarves responded before the break, with Branden Beaton equalising in the 31st minute before Kooper Richardson struck six minutes later to give the hosts a 2–1 lead at half-time.

Kemnay responded quickly after the restart, with Ryan McLaren finding the net in the 47th minute to bring the scores level at 2–2.

The game remained level until the closing stages, when Tarves scored twice in quick succession. Alex Clark put the hosts back in front in the 74th minute before Beaton grabbed his second just a minute later to make it 4–2.

Kemnay weren't finished, with Callum Forbes scoring in the 84th minute to reduce the deficit to one and give his side hope of finding a late equaliser.

Tarves ultimately held on, with the match finishing 4–3 to the hosts.
